What the Medical Marijuana Research Act Entails

The cannabis world has seen some serious growth in the recent decade. However, due to the swift changes, the industry is still hindered by the ban on cannabis. Researchers that undergo the studies usually need to go through a process to get the testing needed for the experiments. However, that’s about to change. The medical marijuana research act actually helped with the role of removing the federal ban on cannabis. This is something that will help researchers distribute and produce cannabis for the research reasons needed.

The Act Itself

The bill actually filed by bot a democrat and a republican, Andy Harris of Maryland and Earl Blumenauer of Oregon. This promotes the studies of cannabis, and also helps make sure that the applications are used properly. This is done because it’ll help states that have benefitted from cannabis research realize their true potential, and also will help them progress to offer the best research to bring cannabis to the local markets.

This is also a critical part of federal legalization. Earl continued to say that congress is behind the users of cannabis, and they’re doing everything to make the industry more seamless for everyone. The problem with current cannabis studies is due to the DEA impeding this. Right now, the current act does also send some questions to Biden as well, who also did promise decriminalization of this.

The advocates of this include those such as Saphira Galoob who is the director of the National Cannabis roundtable, and they view this bill as a win not just for cannabis consumers, but for those studies which need to be pushed forward in research. There were even some republicans who were in support of this, since it is something that’ll help with the information vacuum of this.  The lawmakers have tried to convince the DEA to continue the research on cannabis for that purpose.

How it’ll impact the industry

To begin, this is really good for those who are studying it because it lets them grow and distribute cannabis to research it. This is good for those researchers that struggle with trying to acquire it. It also expeditated a lot of the current studies that are out there, and it’ll encourage more studies too, which will benefit everyone overall.

It’ll help prove that cannabis is safe for people to have, and may also push the road towards legalization, making it much more possible, and setting the stage for this. It also is good for researchers who struggle with getting the licenses. These take a long time to get approved, and the approval of this along with the more availability of cannabis will make it easier for you to undergo the studies that are there. For a lot of peopled, this means that there is a chance to bring cannabis to full legality, on all sorts of levels. In a lot of places, they may not be able to get legalization due to the republican presence and the anti-weed sentiment in a lot of areas.

But we could see this as something that’s really good for the industry, and a lot of advocates are some that will help with a lot of the problems at hand. Luckily, we can see that the future of the industry itself is in the rightful hands of many people. With the growth of cannabis becoming a true reality, we can see just what this has to offer for a lot of us. In a lot of cases, this new and unprecedented act will spell a lot of great things for all of us and will indeed help with the push for legalization.

Let’s Talk About Psychedelic Cannabis

Nowadays, there always seems to be new talk of some strain of cannabis that you just have to try. Honestly, it all makes sense when you think about it. Now that now marijuana is becoming legal across the country, at least, from a medical standpoint, cultivators are becoming more diligent about producing new strains and products to keep people coming back for more. Have you gotten bored of your regular cannabis strains as of late? Have you been looking for a way to spice things up? Well if you are, I have what could potentially blow your mind completely. Today we are going to be talking about psychedelic cannabis (see what I did there?).

Now, it is important to keep in mind that these strains of marijuana not like the psychedelic experiences you would normally associate with weed. Sure, being really high can cause us to experience euphoria and tranquility, but these strains are more heavy hitting than what you may be used to. Because of that, psychedelic strains are not top sellers everywhere. Some people just want to smoke some regular weed, and that is totally okay. However, if you are wanting to try something new and experience drug usage closer to that of shrooms or another psychedelic plant, then you may want to give some of these strains some thought. Before you go out to the dispensary and buy some, make sure you read the rest of what I have to say so that you are properly prepared for what you might encounter.

So what exactly makes certain cannabis strains much more potent with psychedelics? Well, it all depends on what kind of cannabis you use. Not a lot of people are familiar with psychedelic cannabis, since they normally associate marijuana usage with more feelings of relaxation and euphoria. Don’t get me wrong – I love using more normal weed strains just like everybody else. However, there is something special about using a psychedelic weed strain that allows for some fun and interesting moments. I have always been afraid to try mushrooms in the event that I have a bad trip or something like that, and I know a lot of people out there that share my same fear. Psychedelic marijuana strains allow me to experience part of that effect without committing to a 6 hour trip on shrooms, and that is something to be appreciative of. Before you go out and try these psychedelic strains for yourself, I wanted to quickly tell you about some of the effects that it can have on medical and recreational users alike.

One of the most common reactions that people have to psychedelic cannabis strains is a shift in the time space continuum. No, I am not talking about a reference to Back to the Future. I simply mean that, while using these strains, you might find yourself outside of our normal perspective of time. An hour could go by and it would feel like 2 minutes – or vice versa. Last time I was on a psychedelic cannabis high, I remember going upstairs in the middle of a movie to use the bathroom really quickly.

When I came down, my friends had told me I was up there for like 15 minutes and they wondered what I was doing. I have no idea how I was up there for so long, but I do know that I owe it to the marijuana I was smoking. Events like this are not out of the norm when it comes to using psychedelic strains, and I hope that you can have as much fun with it as I did.
